I think you've made an excellent list of choices we can make that will allow us to live more carefully on planet earth. Eating foods that don't require too much energy to produce, not littering so that animals aren't exposed to our rubbish, and walking or biking rather than burning up fossil fuel in a car are 3 great ways of living well. Good for you!
I live in a small town in Canada and so I'm lucky that I can walk just about anywhere I need to go. We don't even have a bus service in my town so walking and biking are the way to go! Do you like to walk or ride a bike?
I just took my dog, Spirit, out for a quick walk around the block and she was not impressed because the temperature is -35 C right now. Can you imagine how cold that is? And we have 45 cm of snow on the ground so we're covered. I love winter, actually, but today is a chilly day!!
