Wow, you have included so many ideas! I love that you posted seven more ideas than you needed to, it shows that you were genuinely thinking about wanting to help and that’s awesome. Had you ever thought about helping them find a job? I wonder what kinds of jobs they could do in the 1930s..
If I were in a position to help back in those days, I would probably have given them a job working for me. Maybe they could work in my house or help make crafts to sell or trade. What do you think?
My name is Megan and I am working along side Cia and Clare on the Summer Learning Journey.
You have thought of some awesome ways to help raise money for families who were struggling in the 1930's. You had a re-occuring idea which was around giving the families money. I think this is a very generous idea of yours which allows me to think that you are a very helpful person. If I had the money, I purchase a range of crops for the families. This way they can grown produce to sell at the local market to make their money for food and clothing. What else do you think we could donate to these families that allows them to sell food or make their own food?
Cadence here from the Summer Learning Journey team! Well done on coming up with some ideas for fundraising. They would definitely help raise money for foundations that need the support! I reckon selling Ice Blocks would be a hit during these really hot summer days. What are some fundraising programmes you have been a part of?
When I was younger, I helped with the 40 hour famine each year and car washing to raise money for school camp. What about you?
