It's Leslie here with the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my wintry home in Canada. Brrr... it's chilly outside today with a temperature around -25 C. It's supposed to warm up tomorrow so perhaps I'll start to feel as though I'm in sunny Auckland -- not likely...
You've created a beautiful DLO featuring the Golden Eagle which you chose from the "10 Top Flying Animals of the World" website. You've done an excellent job of including a photo of an eagle on your colourful poster.
The activity description asked that you include 3 facts about your animal and I see just one - that it's one of the world's fastest birds. Would you like to add 2 more details so that you can earn full points for your hard work?
Perhaps it would help for you to read each activity over at least twice before you start so that you'r really clear on what you're being asked to do. That way you might more fully complete the activities and get credit for all the work you're doing.
I hope you're enjoying the Summer Learning Journey program. You're working so steadily at it and being very artistic in your postings.
