Moonlight's Fun Facts about New Zealand Hope u like/(:
Talofa lava and many greetings to you all
and welcome to my first summer leaning journey post
I hope you liked it and learned something
(:
your sincerely Moonlight Moala
My name is Rachel and I am working with Megan and Cia this year on the Summer Learning Journey programme. It is so great to see that you have joined us again this year. Welcome back!! Once again you have put a lot of effort into your posts and made them really bright, colourful and interesting to look at. You have also included a number of really interesting facts in this post. As a woman, I particularly liked the second fact that you included because it is a really significant event in the history of New Zealand - women earning the right to vote. I am so grateful that Kate Sheppard and the other suffragettes worked so hard on our behalf to lobby the government and have the rules changed. I love being able to vote!
When you are older, do you think that you will also vote?
I hope that you will continue to work through the Summer Learning Journey programme, teaching us a lot about New Zealand as you go!
