There are Go-Fund-Me sites on the computer, as you suggest, for crowd funding for a cause. And having a Sausage Sizzle (in Canada we'd call it a "Barbeque" or a Garage Sale would be good ways of raising money in your community as well.
School Fairs are fun, aren't they? Have you participated in one of those in the past year? What were your favourite activities at the last fair you went to?
Sometimes we hold fund-raising concerts in our town when there's a special project that we want to support. We have a number of great musicians and singers who volunteer to participate and we hold the concerts in our town hall. Some of us bake treats for the refreshment table and others help by serving coffee and tea and cold drinks. It's always fun to see talented people perform and to know that the money we raise is going to be of help to someone.
I hope you're having some fun this summer, visiting places that you love and getting lots of outdoor activity. I hope you're enjoying doing these activities too. You're certainly working hard at them!
