  1. Kia orana Moonlight,

I’m glad you feel like you live in a safe country, did the poem help you realise this? I agree that we should thankful that we live in such a peaceful country. Perhaps next time you could include some information about why New Zealand is a peaceful country.

The poem made me feel sad but at the same time proud of the people who fought for our country. It is because of them we feel the freedom we do today and for that I’m very thankful! I will continue to celebrate and honour them every year on ANZAC day. How will you honour them?

    Toe feiloa’i fo’i,

    Cia.

  2. Kia ora Moonlight,

I really liked reading your response to the poem called Flander's field. You are right, we are lucky to live in such a safe country and should be thankful that we can celebrate Anzac Day with pride and thankfulness. You mentioned that you are glad you moved to New Zealand, where did you move from?

I felt quite overwhelmed with sadness when I read the poem, but it inspired me to make the most of the beautiful, safe country we live in. The soldiers fought for our freedom and I feel I do not live a life honouring their bravery and sacrifice. I feel more compelled to attend a dawn service on Anzac Day this year. Do you do anything to celebrate Anzac Day?

Awesome post Moonlight. I really like how you put your post on colourful backgrounds as the post looks more interesting for your followers. However, I struggled to read the black writing against the camo background. Maybe next time you could use a white font on this background.

Can't wait to read more posts from you,
    Megan

Does your family do anything special on Anzac Day?

Love how you have presented your work too! Very aesthetically pleasing! That means it’s displayed beautifully.

    Keep up the great work!
