After reading your post I definitely agree that Maui was known as the best fisherman. I like the way you added in that detail.
A suggestion for next time, maybe focus a bit more on giving facts about Maui himself rather than the story. For example you’ve shared that he makes plans, do his plans work? If yes, what does that mean?
